For the second year, IAAF Awards made their way to the Lebanese American University. The main event that was held in Beirut Campus was attended by President of the Lebanese American University Dr. Joseph
Jabbra, who gave an empowering word to his students and praised the IAAF for its role in empowering the Lebanese youth. Other notable guests included the representative of the Lebanese Commander Army General Joseph Aoun, General George Melhem and the wife of Lebanese Commander Army General Joseph Aoun, Mrs. Nehmat Aoun. The Jury was composed of Mrs. Inas Al Jarmakani, Minister of State for Women’ Affairs Jean Oghassapian, Deputy CEO of LBCI Randa El-Daher, LAU’s Associate professor Silva Karkoulian and Assistant Professor Amine Abi Aad.
The 2 winner projects were “LMN” from LAU Beirut & “FindMyDoc” from LAU Byblos, each 10000$.
