The IAAF believes and has faith in the huge role that Caritas plays across Lebanon. In 2017, the IAAF organized and sponsored Christmas chocolate boxes initiative to empower children with special needs under the wing of the Caritas. The aim is to make these children feel capable, productive and valuable to society, by preparing, wrapping and decorating these boxes.

This collaboration with Caritas was a message from IAAF to highlight the will of these special kids to give back and to contribute efficiently to society, as well as their desire to lead a healthy life and have a better future.

Despite all the circumstances, they are still daring to dream in their own special way.
